Ashley Lelie visited the Steelers Monday and could ink a deal with the team, according to the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. Agent Peter Schaffer said, "He had a great visit. The Steelers and I are going to continue to have open dialogue. I think there is some mutual interest, and we are going to keep discussing it."
Lelie is a deep threat, and the Steelers are looking for a replacement for Nate Washington after departing for Tennessee. Lelie would likely compete for the No. 4 role at receiver with Hines Ward, Santonio Holmes and Limas Sweed expected to occupy the top three spots.
