Update: Brady Quinn completed 10-of-16 passes for 130 yards, a touchdown, and an interception in Denver's preseason game against the Bills on Saturday. Quinn came off the bench before Tim Tebow who was limited to just two fourth-quarter pass attempts, completing one for 10 yards while also taking a sack.
Update: ESPN is reporting that the Broncos released RB LenDale White. White was not able to stay healthy during camp, and has now been out of the NFL since 2009. It appears that his career is coming to a close.
Update: The Denver Broncos acquired DT Brodrick Bunkley from the Eagles in exchange for an undisclosed draft pick in 2013. This deal comes after Bunkley was originally dealt to the Browns over the weekend, but refused to report.
Update: ESPN is reporting that the players will reportedly receive 48 percent of "all revenue" under the framework of the labor deal currently being discussed. NFLPA chief DeMaurice Smith insists the players only saw 53 percent of the revenues under the previous agreement, though 60 percent is the number most commonly cited.
Update: ESPN's Adam Schefter reports on Twitter that all players with at least four years of service time will be unrestricted free agents under the labor agreement currently being discussed. This would impact in excess of 500 current players and would potentially lead to a free agent frenzy once a deal is reached.
Update: Washington QB Jake Locker shot down speculation on Tuesday's ProFootballTalk Live that he would turn to baseball's Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the event of a lockout. Locker had a nice combine, and certainly doesn't want to do anything to mess up the hype that now surrounds him.
Update: Denver Broncos coach John Fox told reporters at the Combine Thursday that Kyle Orton is his starting quarterback "right now." Said Fox of Orton, "As far as I’m concerned, he’s under contract and he's the starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos." Orton is slated to make $7.4 million in 2011, and it makes no sense for him to be paid that money to be the backup behind second year pro Tim Tebow. Expect a resolution once the CBA is worked out.
Update: Free agent Champ Bailey has put his Colorado home up for sale. "I am putting my Littleton, (CO) house up for sale," Bailey confirmed to Inside the NFL's Josina Anderson. This is interesting given it was reported the team was trying to re-sign Bailey, but he may just be on his way out of Denver.
Update: Denver Broncos wideout Demaryius Thomas' recovery from his torn Achilles will take a minimum of six months, according to the Associated Press.
Update: Denver Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton is scheduled to receive nearly $9 million in 2011 salary and bonuses. His base salary is scheduled to be just under $7.5 million. Don't expect the Broncos to pay him this money if Tebow is going to take over as the starter. Orton is sure to be a guy who is shopped once a new CBA is in place.
