Update: NFL Network's Jason La Canfora reports that Giants RE Osi Umenyiora (knee surgery) will miss "at least" the season's first two games. It sounds like Umenyiora's return target is Week 3 against the Eagles.
Update: Wideout Victor Cruz has worked as the Giants' primary slot receiver for their last two preseason games. He has not been great, as he and Eli Manning look out of sync a number of times, but he does in fact appear to have the inside track ahead of Domenik Hixon
Update: ESPN is reporting that the New York Giants have waived LB Kenny Ingram. Ingram played college ball at FSU, and got off to a nice camp, but quickly faded and lost his chance of making a banged up Giants roster.
Update: ESPN is reporting that the players will reportedly receive 48 percent of "all revenue" under the framework of the labor deal currently being discussed. NFLPA chief DeMaurice Smith insists the players only saw 53 percent of the revenues under the previous agreement, though 60 percent is the number most commonly cited.
Update: ESPN's Adam Schefter reports on Twitter that all players with at least four years of service time will be unrestricted free agents under the labor agreement currently being discussed. This would impact in excess of 500 current players and would potentially lead to a free agent frenzy once a deal is reached.
Update: Washington QB Jake Locker shot down speculation on Tuesday's ProFootballTalk Live that he would turn to baseball's Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the event of a lockout. Locker had a nice combine, and certainly doesn't want to do anything to mess up the hype that now surrounds him.
Update: Terrell Thomas is locked in as the Giants' starting right cornerback moving forward, according to ESPN New York's Ohm Youngmisuk. Thomas had 5 INTs last year and forced 4 fumbles. Teams however still look to throw his way into coverage, but that could change if he has yet another solid season.
Update: New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw will undergo a "clean out" procedure on his troublesome left ankle next Saturday. The surgery will be similar to the one performed on his right ankle last offseason.
Fantasy Impact: The Giants want Bradshaw back, but he is a free agent and it will come down to dollars.
Update: Scout.com's John Crist believes there's very little chance that Plaxico Burress will re-sign with the Giants after he's released from prison in June.
Fantasy Impact: Burress will be 34 years old next season, and he should get a shot somewhere in the league. Michael Vick's comeback will certainly gives teams the confidence to take a shot on him.
Update: New York Giants tight end Kevin Boss will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his hip Wednesday. The procedure is considered a minor one.
Fantasy Impact: Boss is a free agent but the Giants are expected to bring him back as he has clearly become one of Eli Manning's favorite targets.
