Update: The Colts have been saying that they believe Peyton Manning will be ready for Week 1, however the team went out and signed veteran QB Kerry Collins out of retirement today in the event Manning is unable to go.
Update: ESPN is reporting that the players will reportedly receive 48 percent of "all revenue" under the framework of the labor deal currently being discussed. NFLPA chief DeMaurice Smith insists the players only saw 53 percent of the revenues under the previous agreement, though 60 percent is the number most commonly cited.
Update: ESPN's Adam Schefter reports on Twitter that all players with at least four years of service time will be unrestricted free agents under the labor agreement currently being discussed. This would impact in excess of 500 current players and would potentially lead to a free agent frenzy once a deal is reached.
Update: Washington QB Jake Locker shot down speculation on Tuesday's ProFootballTalk Live that he would turn to baseball's Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the event of a lockout. Locker had a nice combine, and certainly doesn't want to do anything to mess up the hype that now surrounds him.
Update: According to FOX Sports' Adam Caplan, the chances of the Colts re-signing free agent Joseph Addai are "much less than 50-50." Donald Brown may be ready to take over the first string duties, but he has yet to prove he can stay on the field. Given Addai wants to return to Indy, it would be a shock if the Colts don't work something out with him.
Update: The Indianapolis Star is reporting that Colts owner Jim Irsay is optimistic the team and Peyton Manning can reach a contract agreement by March. "It should get done, and the sooner the better," Irsay said.
Fantasy Impact: The lack of a CBA will certainly play into these negotiations, but the Colts clearly aren't letting Manning go anywhere. This deal will get done, it is just a matter of when.
Update: Jets head coach Rex Ryan revealed Monday that he plans to shadow Reggie Wayne with Darrelle Revis in the Wild Card round. This should come as no shocker to anyone as this is what happened in last year's AFC Championship game where Wayne saw just five balls go his way.
Fantasy Impact: Peyton Manning will have to make due with other guys such as Pierre Garcon, Jacob Tamme, and Blair White this weekend. This should be one of the Divisional Round's best games.
Update: Nfl.com is reporting that Colts RB Joseph Addai is expected to play this week against the Raiders. Addai has missed the last eight weeks due to a shoulder injury. Addai participated fully in practice Wednesday.
Update: Peyton Manning and Donald Brown both had big games today in their win against the Jaguars. Brown filled in for an injured Joseph Addai scoring a TD and over 100 yards on the ground.
Fantasy Impact: Donald Brown has not been having a good season at all. He has started the last few weeks and hasn't produced. He and Manning had one of their best games of the season in the biggest game of the year for both the Colts and the Jags.
Update: Rotoworld.com is reporting that Colts WR Austin Collie has left the game today with another apparent head injury. Collie was hit in the head and was down on the ground for awhile afterwards. Collie suffered a concussion earlier this week and it took him awhile to come back from that.
