Update: ESPN is reporting that the players will reportedly receive 48 percent of "all revenue" under the framework of the labor deal currently being discussed. NFLPA chief DeMaurice Smith insists the players only saw 53 percent of the revenues under the previous agreement, though 60 percent is the number most commonly cited.
Update: ESPN's Adam Schefter reports on Twitter that all players with at least four years of service time will be unrestricted free agents under the labor agreement currently being discussed. This would impact in excess of 500 current players and would potentially lead to a free agent frenzy once a deal is reached.
Update: Washington QB Jake Locker shot down speculation on Tuesday's ProFootballTalk Live that he would turn to baseball's Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the event of a lockout. Locker had a nice combine, and certainly doesn't want to do anything to mess up the hype that now surrounds him.
Update: The Atlanta Falcons signed head coach Mike Smith to a three-year extension.
Fantasy Impact: Smith has yet to win a playoff game, but he is clearly the best coach the Falcons have ever had. Smith took home Sporting News NFL Coach of the Year honors in 2010 but lost the Associated Press Coach of the Year award.
Update: Ken Sugiura of the Journal-Constitution reports that Falcons tightend Tony Gonzalez says that retirement is a "possibility." "Year 15 is a long time," said the All-Pro tight end.
Fantasy Impact: Given the fact that the Falcons will be a contender year in and year out, it would be a shock if Gonzalez didn't give it at least one more season.
Update: Atlanta Falcons linebacker Curtis Lofton is still nursing the right knee he injured against the Panthers on January 2, according to Orlando D. Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Fantasy impact: We will know more about Lofton's status on Friday, but it would be a shock if he was unable to go on Saturday. He is a key contributor on defense, and the Falcons clearly need him out there.
Update: Adam Schefter is reporting that Panthers CB Chris Gamble is inactive today against the Falcons. Gamble was slated to cover one of the top WRs in the NFL today in Roddy White. Look for White to have a big day today against a fill in on a weak Carolina defense.
Update: CBSsports.com is reporting that Altanta Falcons TE Tony Gonzalez returned to practice Thursday after sitting out Wednesday with an ankle injury. Gonzalez suffered the injury last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Fantasy Impact: Gonzalez hasn't put up oustanding numbers this season but he is still a top tight end in the NFL. With injuries to top tight ends like Jermichael Finley and Dallas Clark, Gonzalez is still a good fantasy option. Keep him in starting lineups as it looks like he will play next week.
Update: NFL.com is reporting that Atlanta Falcons WR Roddy White practiced in full on Friday and is listed as probable for Sunday's game against the Green Bay Packers. White had been suffering from a knee injury that kept him out of practice, but he hasn't missed any playing time.
Fantasy Impact: White hasn't missed a game in six seasons with the Falcons and it looks like that streak won't come to an end just yet. White is having arguably the best season in the NFL for wideouts, so he is a must-start in all fantasy leagues.
Update: ESPN.com is reporting that Atlanta Falcons WR Roddy White is expected to play tonight against the Baltimore Ravens despite being listed as questionable with a knee injury. White hurt his knee last week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but returned to the game. He was limited in practice Wednesday.
