Fantasy Impact: Richards' injury has not kept him out of any games, but he does take practices off to get some rest. He has 17 points on the season, and is a crucial piece of the Stars offense.
Update: Forward Steve Ott netted a power-play goal for the Dallas Stars in their 4-2 loss to the Nashville Predators. He also had 5 shots in his return from a 2 game suspension for a low hit last week.
Fantasy Impact: In addition to the suspension, Ott missed a few games to injury already this season. The tough guy has 5 points and 18 penalty minutes in 8 games.

Update: The Dallas Stars gave backup goalie Alex Auld the start against the Nashville Predators on Saturday. He stopped 29 of 33 shots fired at him, but the Stars lost 4-2.
Fantasy Impact: In his fifth start of the year, Auld received his first regulation loss. He is now 2-1-2 for Dallas with a 3.73 GAA and 08.72 SV%. Those stats aren't gonna secure him too many additional starts, especially with Marty Turco playing pretty good hockey right now.

Fantasy Impact: Ribeiro is having a strong season for the Stars. He has 11 points in 12 games so far.
Update: Forward James Neal of the Dallas Stars scored part way through overtime giving them a 4-3 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs. He also assisted on Dallas' first goal as well as had 3 shots on goal and finished the game a +2.
Update: Forward Steve Ott scored an empty net goal and also had an assist as Dall won 4-2 over the Anaheim Ducks. Ott was a -1 with 6 shots on goal.
Fantasy Impact: The pesky Ott was missed by Dallas during his absence. He's an energy player and will get his share of penalty minutes and last season he had 46 points too. If he keeps scoring and keeps the penalty minutes rolling in he can produce for a fantasy team.
