Update:Bob Elliott of Slam Sports writes that Roy Halladay has told the Toronto Blue Jays that he will not invoke his no-trade clause if he is traded to the N.Y. Yankees.This past July, Halladay was known to have used his veto power to nix trades to Minnesota and Texas. The Yankees have the requisite young prospects and young major-league ready arms that the Jays would want in return for Halladay.
Fantasy Impact: Build your staff around Halladay if you are looking to start a staff fresh from the start. Halladay doesn't appear to want to shy away from the spotlight in New York and chances are he would only add to his numbers with the Yankee lineup behind him.
