Update:Brian Roberts of the Baltimore Orioles is still at least a week away from playing in his first Grapefruit League game. The Orioles 2B has been diagnosed with a herniated disk in his lower back and has already missed one week. G.M. Andy MacPhail is being cautiously optimistic when he talks about his All-Star second baseman."The medical stuff that I have so far indicates that he should be ready to go when the season starts," said MacPhail. "It is what it is. You have to recognize that you have a month to go before you open.
