Update: According to the Edmonton Sun, the Oilers have made a contract offer to goaltender Dwayne Roloson. It is reported to be a one-year deal for about $3 million. Roloson, the team's MVP last season, will become an unrestricted free agent at Noon ET on July 1 if he does not re-sign with Edmonton.
Fantasy Impact: Roloson wants to be a starter, and re-signing in Edmonton might be his only true chance at that given he is an older netminder. Don't expect the Oilers to wait around long for Roloson as they could decide to go young very quickly.
