My dad took me to my first Flyers game when I was five years old. They were playing the Montreal Canadians in the old Spectrum. To be quite honest I can’t remember the score or much of anything about the game. The only thing I remember is one of the fights during the game. These two players went at it as though they were mortal enemies from generations past. Ripping each other’s shirts over their heads, they would each grab the other player with one hand and punch the daylights out of him with the other. The fists flew so fast.
