Update: According to the Raleigh News & Observer, the Hurricanes have signed free agent goalie Manny Legace to a two way contract.  The deal is for one year and for approximately $500,000.

Fantasy Impact: With Cam Ward on the IR with a leg injury, the Canes were in need of a veteran goalie to shoulder the load.  He will likely get ample playing time, and should see action along with Micharl Leighton.
