Update: Cuban shortstop Adeinis Hechavarria is said to be close to signing a $10M dollar deal with the Toronto Blue Jays according to George King of the New York Post.This would be quite an upset since the New York Yankees have been thought to the leader for Hechavarria's services all along. But King reports that the presence of Derek Jeter in N.Y. may be the reason that Hechavarria may not want to play in the Bronx. He believes that Jeter would hinder his progress to the majors.

Fantasy Impact: Say what you will about Hechavarria, he's got some confidence. There isn't much known about the shortstop, except that he describes his body-type as "Alfonso Soriano"-like. There isn't much in front of him in Toronto, so if he is the real deal he could be seen in Canda as soon as next year. Keep tabs on him after he signs.
