Update:One day after undergoing knee surgery, the Houston Astros believe that their All-Star 1b Lance Berkman may miss 2 to 4 weeks.Manager Brad Mills sounded optimistic after the surgery on Berkman's left knee."From my understanding, they were able to clean everything up without any cartilage damage," Mills said. "The level of concern has gone way down because of that. The doctor says he's fine. I have all the confidence in the world that he's going to be fine."
Fantasy Impact: Berkman has been down this road before. In 1999 he had surgery on the same knee. Berkman's fantasy value may take a bit of a hit with this surgery and that could be good news for managers. If Berkman falls you could get a great value pick considering Berkman will be playing for a new contract in 2011.
