The echoed shock at the Bell Centre in Montreal when the Anaheim Ducks announced they had traded Captain Chris Pronger to Philadelphia Flyers did not immolate itself down in Southern California.

Pronger a 15 year veteran who had spent 3 of those seasons with the Ducks organization, Not only lead the franchise to their first Stanley Cup but his as well.

Pronger seemed as though he would be a team staple for years to come.  Perhaps even retiring in the very sweater that recently allowed him the opportunity to hoist Lord Stanley's Cup.
