Update: Jenifer Langosch of MLB.com reports that the Pittsburgh Pirates are down to two candidates for the fifth spot in the rotation. Daniel McCutchen and Kevin Hart will both have to show the Pirates in the near future why they should be in the Major Leagues this season. While the Pirates are maintaining that the decision remains too close to call, at least one aspect of the competition is looking settled: Whoever does not win that rotation spot will likely start the season in Triple-A Indianapolis' rotation.

Fantasy Impact: The pitcher that wins the job will not have much fantasy value on the lowly Pittsburgh Pirates. Neither pitcher should be drafted in any formats until they start turning heads during the regular season.
