Update: According to Buster Olney on Twitter , Brandon Webb completed his rehab throwing program and has been cleared to begin a normal program. He is making excellent progress and could be ready for the start of spring training.

Fantasy Impact: This is excellent news for fantasy owners as he appears likely to be ready for opening day of the 2010 season. If Arizona should fall out of another playoff race before July's trade deadline, fantasy owners can expect Webb to be traded to a contender. Therefore, whether Arizona is playing well or not, Webb likely will be in position to be win a nice number of games for fantasy owners. Of course, as with every fantasy player, this is all barring any further injuries.
