Update: According to WEEI's Alex Speier, Angels' manager Mike Scioscia says the Angels have higher priorities than signing free agent outfielder Jason Bay.

Fantasy Impact: Scioscia is right, they do need starting pitching and a third baseman to replace Chone Figgins. They need to re-sign John Lackey at this point or trade for someone like Roy Halladay. Once they take care of those needs, they can shift their focus to Bay or Matt Holliday, if they have the money at that point.
